I've been a fan of Noname since I first heard her spit a emotionally relatable verse on Chance The Rapper's 2013 "Acid Rap" Album, and with great lyricism too. After 'Lost' played I immediately hit google to find more of Noname who was inevitably pretty scarce online. Three years later, I'm super excited to say that her "Telefone" release was worth the wait. It features the likes of Raury, Eryn Allen Kayne and SABA amongst others, it gave me an old school vibe that us at 94/5 love, but with an undeniably new delivery. Sounding like something that J Dilla would appreciate - I think that Noname herself is hard to compare to others right now. Listen to the beautifully articulated project below.
