‘All Eyez On Me’ (1996) is one of my favourite Tupac albums, filled with melodic soundscapes and funk inspired baselines, you can feel Pac enjoyed himself creating this album. Heavily influenced by the G-Funk era, Tupac recruited an impressive cast from the West Coast to produce this double-disc album with names such as Dr. Dre and Daz Dillinger involved. Even the list of credited samples are worth taking a look at. Packed with 27 tracks, something rarely done in Rap, Pac allows you to remain engaged from start to finish, marking ‘All Eyez On Me’ as a masterpiece in Rap’s history. 'All Eyez On Me’ is a feature heavy album in comparison to our earlier feature 'Me Against The World' yet Tupac’s recognisable flow and cadences aren't out-shined. Check out ‘What'z Ya Phone #’, one of the albums more melodic tracks.
